We would love to give out extra points. The Dorfkrug in Roda is definitely worth a visit at any time. We celebrated our wedding there and we are still excited about EVERYTHING and really without exception. From the preliminary talks (used as a restaurant visit, of course) to the professional competence of the organization and the variety in food and drinks, we were extremely satisfied. Everything was perfect, and the team ALWAYS has a smile on their face. The food tasted very good to all guests and those who did not know the Dorfkrug were pleasantly surprised. I can only recommend it to everyone and we will definitely come back to eat more often. In the house, people still have fun and enjoy working and you can feel that the working atmosphere is right. Overall a wonderful restaurant.

The food was very good and tasted. As a closed company of 10 people, we had to wait a bit for the meal, as we probably had to accept multiple orders. But were informed about it immediately. It didn't bother us. What was particularly good for us was that we all got our food at the same time despite the different menus. Something like that is damn rare and shows that it is well organized. The decoration of our room was also very nice, coherent and cozy. The entire ambience of the Dorfkrug is bright and inviting. The toilets were also clean and tidy. The staff was nice and friendly. We would be happy to come back.

This insider tip is hidden in the middle of nowhere. For us there was tender roast wild boar with dumplings according to grandma’s recipe and schnitzel with chanterelles. Very tasty, great products, simple recipes without a lot of chichi in a cozy atmosphere and with friendly service. Definitely to be recommended.

If you like to eat delicious and in a nice ambience, you should definitely remember the Dorfkrug in Roda. He has been on our list for over 30 years and we have never been disappointed. The conversion or extension and the beer garden have become beautiful. Keep it up and happy guests

After the conversion, the village pitcher looks much nicer than before. The menu has also changed and has become a bit smaller. The food still tastes good. The cook can be his craft. There is also a larger outdoor area and a children's playground. Really well done.

Excellent food. We ordered a buffet for the wedding. This was delivered on time and everyone was satisfied. Everyone praised the food. During the conversation in the Dorfkrug beforehand we felt very comfortable and all our wishes were implemented.

Perfect local gastronomy with a personal & very friendly touch! I can't recommend a specific dish as there are many seasonal changes - but if you get hold of the Vienna Schnitzel, you will for sure choose a good one!
